Thanks to its privileged location, Dro is within easy reach of towns on Lake Garda, like Riva, Limone and Malcesine or moving north, to the town of Trento (30 km) with its elegant historic centre and Buonconsiglio Castle.

Only 10 minutes away you can also reach other historical places of interest, like Drena Castle (5 km), Arco Castle (5 Km) or the romantic Castel Toblino (10 km).

in the immediate vicinity you can reach some of the famous rock-climbing faces, such as “Lastoni di Dro”, the “Coste Dell’Anglone”, the Padaro Wall, Mount Colodri, the San Paulo Wall and the Climbing Stadium of Arco, home of the famous Rock Master competition.

starting from Dro you have a vast network of routes and tours (also with a guide on request) like the “Sentiero della Ponale”, Tremalzo or other cross-country and down-hill trails for thrilling mountain bike rides.

just 300 meters from the farm you can find the start of the Arco-Torbole Cycle Path that leads to Garda’s most beautiful beaches.

“Sentiero degli Scaloni” and Mount Anglone, a circular route with views over the Sarca Valley and Lake Garda, the “Marocche di Dro”, the “via ferrata” of Mount Colodri, the Hermitage of San Paolo di Prabi.

In a few minutes by car you can reach the mountains, with starting points for the trails of Mount Stivo or “l’Altissimo”.

Motorcycling enthusiasts will find a real challenge! The twists and turns in Trentino are particularly suitable for travelling by motorbike, between hairpin bends and climbs you will surely find refreshing areas. We also recommend the small villages on the lakeside, connected by scenic roads that are well known by many bikers, such as the famous “Strada della Forra” of Tremosine.
